Techno-economic modeling is that well-established process, which when developed in concert with technology, ensures that market-driven prices can be achieved.
Techno-economic paridigm
A ‘techno-economic paradigm’, essentially describes how, in the initial stages of any new paradigm, there is an emphasis on the technical side rather than innovation. As the technology, or paradigm, as he refers to it, becomes more accessible and accepted, the next stage is the diffusion of the new paradigm from the innovative sectors to the economy as a whole. Then there is a shift in emphasis to both organisational and social innovation. This is where there is a divide between the technology available and the skills required" (module manual , 2016).

This finding shows evidence that technology is the core of all activity and that the digital divide it very evident in this way. the trend towards technologically run businesses has effected the way that we live and work, and learning more and more about how technology can help us in our everyday lives will enable us to grow and develop.
