How hackers get our information :

1.identity theft

this make possible for strangers or hackers to lie about who they are to gain information about us and our personal information such as where do we live ,passwords and so on. Some use key loggies to track what you type on the search engine or even log into your accounts like Facebook or online banking. This makes it possible for strangers to use your credit card.

2. Transaction fraud

As it has been mention how hackers purchase on fake credit card. They can also make fake websites where they show items on sale but once someone has made payment for the item ,there is no delivery is made for the item. This is a way to scam people out for money.

3.hacking

This is a act of accessing someone else computer or device without their consent and bypassing their security like password. Reason for doing this is they want to steal information or attack people over the internet.

4.Advance fee fraud

Is the process where the victim will be sent an email or message promising easy money like get rich quick. The promise of easy money is tempting for most people and they end up giving out their personal information or paying small fees to get what is has been promised.

how we can avoid fraud:

-Make sure your computer has some form of security like avast or Norton.

-Review your bank transaction and receipt often or frequently

-Keep all your computer programs up to date with patches and updates.

-Choose unique passwords that will only known by you.

-Do not hand out personal information online and don't trust people online.
